The Eastwest Bikaram Yoga studio in Ponsonby Auckland had a long corridor they needed breaking up as well as a backdrop for the reception area. I used a timber trough filled with white quartz stones as a base for random vertical bamboo canes. Due to the slightly different angles of each cane, the space is interrupted providing interest in what would otherwise have been a severe corridor.
