Kenninji

Single sided $115/m²
Double sided $145/m²

Kenninji is derived from a traditional Japanese fence called Kenninji-gaki. It is the most popular bamboo fence screen in Japan, named after the Kenninji Temple in Kyoto.

It consists of bamboo slats laid side by side, attached to a frame.

There are invariably small gaps between the slats, so it is not totally opaque, and some air can get through, but to all intents and purposes, it provides a complete screen.

These panels can be made double sided, so they will be the same on both sides.

Traditionally, they have cross pieces of bamboo tied with Japanese fence knots, this is not necessary if you don't want that Japanese look. The prices on the price list refers to the panels with no knotwork. If you'd like a more traditional look, please contact me.

Maximum size for the Bambusero range is 1.8m high x 1.5m wide. For panels outside this size range, please me for a quote.
