- It is custom made. Typically I go to the clients house and talk at length about what they need, measure up and later present them with a design.
- Original designs. I try to come up with creative solutions which, I hope, are more sophisticated than the bamboo furniture you normally come across.
- Construction methods which are sympathetic to the nature of the material.
- Properly harvested and seasoned bamboo. This is very important for durability but ignored by many.
- Rigorous selection process of the raw material. I use superior species of bamboo, sourced from various locations around New Zealand.
- High level of finishing and attention to detail. You won't find any rough edges or splinters common to a lot of bamboo furniture.
