I particularly enjoy making traditional Japanese bamboo fencing. They are the master bamboo fence makers, with thousands of years of tradition behind them. These can be made as hybrid versions of traditional Japanese designs, or using authentic construction and finishing techniques.

This job is in Queenstown and I actually made up all the panels in my Auckland workshop and sent them down to be installed by the clients. Very close contact with the landscapers was crucial to get the high standard desired.
